Rejuvenation to improve circulation, collaboration and community amenities

The challenge

TTSP were appointed to craft, create and design a proposal for the refurbishment of an existing two storey office building along with the potential extension to accommodate new staff facilities.  The existing building required modernising to improve and support new ways of Activity based working, internal circulation, external access and the creation of a new entrance/reception space with feature external landscaping.

The approach

Having carried out a detailed workshop to define the client’s project brief, TTSP reviewed the master planning of the site and worked through architectural and interior options to maximise the space while keeping the client informed of the design proposals.

The result

An integrated architectural and interior design scheme which sensitively enhances the building’s street presence and net internal area to provide a modern, stylish office with a welcoming entrance for the client’s current demands while future proofing for their planned expansion. Wellbeing improvements were designed throughout the scheme by creating an indoor/outdoor connection.

The design was aligned with the preliminary budget while providing quality and a practical approach to the design and construction programme.
