Delivering change to support caring collaboration and diversity.
The challenge
Helping the Nursing & Midwifery Council define a future workplace that would support the evolution of their Practise and respond to their demands for choice, support collaboration and a greater social focus and quality within their workplace.
The approach
Consultation from an early start has been key to developing an understanding of how the NMC work and their aspirations. A choice of open and cellular, informal and formal spaces and settings are designed around a social focal point at the heart of the floor, providing a place for conversation, connection and sharing.
The result
A workplace that is a dynamic transformation for the NMC that provides a flexible environment to support the changing nature of their Practise. Engagement with staff throughout the design process supported successful Change Management enabling the move from Central London to become widely supported and deliver a welcome change.
